Alyssa + Kain were lucky enough to be the very first couple married at the stunning Mount Bold Estate in Kangarilla, south of Adelaide. And they gave it an amazing first run!
Alyssa proved to be incredible at putting together a wedding full of so many special details, and together with Sparrow planner Christie, the two of them pulled off a day that went off without a hitch (except the kind you want!)

What are your fondest memories of your wedding day? Oh, my goodness I don’t know where to start 😂 the entire day and night!? Seeing everything set up for the first time!
What was the best decision you made when planning the wedding? Any advice for future couples? Always try to be ahead of time. There are so many things that have to be left to ‘the last minute’, so make sure you do what you can as early as you can.
My best decision was having a Nanny for my 13-month-old, and choosing elements including music that were true to us as a couple. I’m also so glad I spent the time writing up each guest’s thank you note as their place card - we still hear from our guests how special that was and many of them have them displayed in their homes!
How would you describe what it was like to work with Sparrow? It was like having a security blanket! I loved the process, and I was built for it, but often when you’re getting married it’s the first wedding you’ve ever planned. Knowing I had experts overlooking all my planning gave me the confidence I needed to know everything would be covered. Necessary for any wedding, however EXTRA important when planning a dry-hire wedding.
