Annabel and Jake have been together for six years and while they were both born and raised in Adelaide, when I met them they were living and working in London, England.
It was October 2019 when we began planning this one, and just a few months later covid arrived to add an extra layer of complexity to our task. At one stage we weren't sure if Annabel and Jake were even going to make it home to Adelaide and through quarantine in time for their big day. Thankfully we dodged that bullet (just!) and it gave me even more joy than usual to be able to bring their dream wedding to life.
Later in the night Annabel had a definite wardrobe malfunction when the zipper on her reception dress split, and it could have been a total disaster. But this relaxed bride allowed us to put her dress back together with safety pins and ran back out to the dance floor to rock her new look!
Nothing could phase this couple and they were so happy to be married - it was nothing but adorable cheesy grins all day :)

What was your favourite part of having Sparrow on your team?
Having someone with experience and knowledge to talk things through with, and knowing they would make sure everything went smoothly on the day.
What are your fondest memories of the wedding day?
The speeches, and driving to the ceremony.
What was the best decision you made when planning the wedding? Any advice for future couples?
Hiring Emma! It was great to have someone so organised that was across everything. Also really happy with the venue, the staff were all amazing. Don't get married in a pandemic year or plan from overseas!!
